Lesson Four

The Stars

1.I love moonlit night, but I also love starry sky.

2.Once upon a time, in my hometown in July and August, when I was enjoying the cool in the courtyard in a night, I loved watching the dense stars in the sky.

3.Three years ago, there was a back door where I lived in a neighbor to the south.

4.At night when I open the back door, it is quiet at night.

5.Below is a vegetable garden, and above it is the sky with clusters of stars.

6.Starlight is tiny to our naked eyes, but it makes us feel that light is everywhere.

7.Nowadays, at sea, I know the stars well every night.

8.I lie on the deck and look up at the sky.

9.There are countless stars hanging in the deep blue sky.

10.The ship is moving, and so are the stars.They look so low as if they are hanging by a thread!

11.Gradually my eyes blurred, and I seemed to see countless fireflies flying around me.

12.The night at sea is gentle, silent and dreamy.

13.I looked at the stars I knew.I seemed to see them blinking at me, and to hear them whispering.

14.At this moment, I forgot everything.In the arms of the stars, I smiled and fell asleep.

15.I feel like a child, and now I sleep in my mother’s arms.
