Lesson Five

Little Cockerel And Little Duckling

1.A little cockerel and a little duckling went out to play together.

2.They got into a grassland.

3.The cockerel found a lot of insects and ate them happily.

4.The duckling could not catch any insects and began to cry.

5.The little rooster saw that and he caught some insects for the duckling.

6.Then they walked  to a river.

7.The duckling said, "brother cockerel I'll catch fish for you in the river."

8.The rooster said, "I will go,too."

9.The duckling said, "no, no, you can not swim. You will be drown!"

10.The cockerel didn't believe what the ducking said.He stealthily followed the duckling and went into the water.

11.The duckling was catching fish in the water when suddenly, he heard the rooster calling for help.

12.He swam to the little cock and let him to sit on his back.

13.The cockerel got onto the bank and said to the duckling with a smile, "thank you, brother duckling."

小公鸡和小鸭子

1.小公鸡和小鸭子一块儿出去玩。

5.小公鸡看见了，捉到虫子就给小鸭子吃。

6.他们走到小河边。

7.小鸭子说：“公鸡弟弟，我到河里捉鱼给你吃。”

8.小公鸡说：“我也去。”

9.小鸭子说：“不行，不行，你不会游泳，会淹死的！”

10.小公鸡不信，偷偷地跟在小鸭子后面，也下了水。

11.小鸭子正在水里捉鱼，忽然，听见小公鸡喊救命。

12.他飞快地游到小公鸡身边，让小公鸡坐在自己的背上。

13.小公鸡上了岸，笑着对小鸭子说：“鸭子哥哥，谢谢你。”
