Lesson Six

The Trees And The Magpies

1.Years ago, here was only one tree and there was only one nest on the tree, there lived only one magpie in the nest.

2.The tree felt very lonely, and so did the magpie.

3.Later, many trees were planted. There was a nest on each tree and a magpie  lived in it.

4.The trees had neighbors, and so did the magpies.

5.Every day at daybreak, the magpies chirped to greet each other and then flew off together.

6.When it was getting dark, they came back again noisily and then went to bed quietly.

7.The trees were happy, so were the magpies.

5.每天天一亮，喜鹊们叽叽喳喳叫几声，打着招呼一起飞出去了。

6.天一黑，他们又叽叽喳喳地一起飞回窝里，安安静静地睡觉了。

7.树很快乐，喜鹊也很快乐。
