Lesson Nine

Night

1.I used to be very timid,

I did not dare to run out when it's dark.

2. Mother told me the story about bravery again and again,

but whenever I looked out of the window, my heart beat fast.

3. Dad insisted to take me for a walk in the evening,

I found that the flowers and plants smiled exactly as they did at daytime.

4. From then on, even in a very very dark night,

I could still see birds sleeping in the moonlight.
