Lesson Seventeen

Animal Kingdom Meeting

1.The animal kingdom was going to hold a meeting. The tiger asked the bear to inform everyone.

2.The bear called out with his horn, "attention, the animal kingdom is going to hold a meeting, all of you please come to attend it!"

3.He said the same words ten times altogether.

4.The fox came and said to the bear, "even if you say it a hundred times, the meeting will not be held."

5."Why not?" Asked the bear.

6."Because you didn't tell us when the conference will be held, in the today or tomorrow' said the fox.

7.When the bear heard this, he said, "You are right!" So he went to asked the tiger about the time.

8.The tiger said, "the meeting will be held tomorrow morning. Please inform everyone!"

9.The bear called out with his horn again: "attention, the animal kingdom is going to hold a meeting tomorrow，all of you，please come to attend it!"

10.He said the same word ten times.

11.The wolf came to the bear and said, "even if you say it a hundred times, the meeting will not be held."

12."Why not?" Asked the bear.

13."Because you didn't tell us when it will open tomorrow, in the morning or in the afternoon, and what time it will open."

14.When the bear heard it, he said, "it's reasonable, it's reasonable!"

15.So he asked the tiger again.

16.The tiger said, "the meeting will be held at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning. Please go and inform everyone again."

17.The bear called out with his horn again: "attention, the animal kingdom is going to hold a meeting at 8:00 tomorrow morning, everyone please attend!"

18.He said the same word ten times.

19.The sika deer ran to the bear and asked, "where will the meeting be held?

20.You have to make it clear. "

21.The bear thumped his head and said, "I should have asked about it?"

22.So he asked the tiger again.

23."Oh! I forgot to tell you where.

24.The meeting will be held in the forest square, please go to inform everyone again! "

25.The tiger said to the bear.

27.The bear called out with his horn again, "tomorrow morning at 8:00, the meeting will be held in the forest square. Please attend on time!"

28.He said it ten times.

29.Now everyone understood.

30.The next morning, the animals came to the forest square and attended the meeting on time.

1.动物王国要开大会，老虎让狗熊通知大家。

2.狗熊用喇叭大声喊：“大家注意，动物王国要开大会，请你们都参加！”

3.一连说了十遍。

4.狐狸奔来了，对狗熊说：“你说一百遍，大会也开不起来。”

5.“为什么？”狗熊问。

6.“因为你没告诉大家，大会在哪一天开，是今天，还是明天，还是……”

7.狗熊一听，伸了伸舌头，做了个鬼脸，连忙说：“对，对，对！”于是就去问老虎。

8.老虎说：“大会就在明天开，你快去通知大家吧！”

9.狗熊又用喇叭大声喊：“大家注意，动物王国要在明天开大会，请你们都参加！”

10.一连说了十遍。

11.大灰狼跑来对狗熊说：“你说一百遍，大会也开不起来。”

12.“为什么？”狗熊问。

13.“因为你没告诉大家，在明天什么时候开，上午还是下午，几点钟开。”

14.狗熊一听，说：“有道理，有道理！”

15.于是又去问老虎。

16.老虎说：“大会就在明天上午八点开，你再去通知大家吧！”

17.狗熊又用喇叭大声喊：“大家注意，动物王国要在明天上午八点开大会，请你们都参加！”

18.一边说了十遍。

19.梅花鹿奔来问狗熊：“大会在哪儿开呀？

20.你得说清楚。”

21.狗熊捶捶自己的脑袋，说：“我怎么没问清楚呢？”

22.于是又去问老虎。

23.“哎呀！忘了说地点。

24.大会在森林广场开，你再去通知大家吧！”

25.老虎对狗熊说。

26.“请注意啦！”

27.狗熊又用喇叭大声喊，“明天上午八点，在森林广场开大会，请大家准时参加！”

28.一边说了十遍。

29.这一次，大家都听懂了。

30.第二天上午，动物们都来到森林广场，准时参加了大会。
