Lesson Eighteen

Little Monkey Came Down The Mountain

1.One day, the little monkey came down the mountain and went to a corn field.

2.He was very happy to see that the corns big and plentiful, so he picked one and went forward with it.

3.The little monkey went to a peach tree.

4.He was very happy to see the peaches in the trees, plentiful, big and red, so he threw away the corn and went to pick the peaches.

5.With peaches in his hands, the little monkey got to a melon field.

6.He was very happy to see that the watermelons were plentiful, big and round, so he threw the peaches and picked a big watermelon.

7.The little monkey walked back with the big watermelon.

8.While he was walking, he saw a little rabbit bouncing around. She was so cute that he threw the watermelon and ran after the rabbit.

9. The little rabbit ran into the woods and disappeared.

10.The little monkey had to go home empty handed.

5.小猴子捧着几个桃子，走到一片瓜地里。

6.他看见满地的西瓜又大又圆，非常高兴，就扔了桃子，去摘西瓜。

7.小猴子抱着一个大西瓜往回走。

8.走着走着，他看见一只小兔子蹦蹦跳跳的，真可爱，就扔了西瓜，去追小兔子。

9.小兔子跑进树林里，不见了。

10.小猴子只好空着手回家去。
