Lesson Three

A Path Full of Blossoming Flowers

1. Yellow Dog the mailman barks at the door: “Mr. Mole, you have a package to pick up.”

2. It turns out that Uncle Giraffe has sent a package to Mr. Mole.

3. Mr. Mole hurriedly rides his motorcycle to the post office to pick up the package.

4. After he returns home, he opens the package, only to find a pile of small particles, but he can’t tell what they are.

5. Mr. Mole takes the package and goes to Mrs. Squirrel's house.

6. He asks Mrs. Squirrel: “Uncle Giraffe sent me a package. Could you please tell me what these things are?’

7. Mrs. Squirrel looks into the package, but there is nothing inside.

8. The package has ripped, and all the stuff inside is gone.

9. It looks like everything has fallen out on the way there!

10. Mr. Mole is very upset.

11. When spring arrives, Mr. Mole goes to visit Mrs. Squirrel.

12. Ah, the road to Mrs. Squirrel's home has become a path full of blossoming flowers.

13. As Mr. Mole passes by Mrs. Hedgehog's house, she steps out of her doorway.

14. Seeing so many colorful flowers in front of the door, she says in surprise: “Who has planted so many flowers in front of my house?

15. How beautiful!”

16. Mr. Mole answers: “I don't know!”

17. When Mr. Mole passes by Mrs. Fox's house, she steps out of her doorway.

18. Seeing so many colorful flowers in front of the door, she asks with wonder: “Who has planted all these flowers in front of my house?

19. How beautiful!”

20. Mr. Mole answers: “I don't know!”

21. Mr. Mole comes to Mrs. Squirrel's door.

22. Mrs. Squirrel steps out of the doorway and smells the sweet fragrance of flowers and sees blooms clustering along the path in front of her house.

23.The little squirrel, hedgehog, and fox hop and jump around happily.

24. Mrs. Squirrel says to Mr. Mole: “Oh, I see. What Uncle Giraffe sent you last year were flower seeds.

25. What a great lovely gift!”

18.看到门前开着一大片五颜六色的鲜花，她奇怪地问：“这是谁在我家门前种的花?

19.真美啊!”

20 鼹鼠先生回答：“我不知道!”

21  鼹鼠先生来到松鼠太太门前。

22.松鼠太太走出门，花香扑鼻，她看见门前的小路上花朵簇簇。

23.小松鼠、小刺猬和小狐狸在那里快活地蹦啊跳啊。

24松鼠太太对鼹鼠先生说：“我知道了，去年长颈鹿大叔寄给你的是花籽。

25这是多么美好的礼物啊!”
