Lesson Three Two Modern Poems
Autumn Evening on the River The homing bird, Though tired, Still carries back the setting sun.
Swings his wings, Falls the setting sun on the river;
The grey-haired reeds, Adorn an instant of rouge.
A Spotted Cow The spotted cow sits on the grass, Squashed a spike of lychnis.
The spotted cow sleeps in the grass, White cloud occupies half a sky.
The spotted cow walks in the grass, Keeps swinging its tail.
The spotted cow dreams in the grass, The sun sneaked into the cyan peaks in western hills. |
