Lesson Two What Am I? 1. I can change. 2. As soon as the sun is shining, I become the steam; rising to the sky, I become countless tiny linked-up dots floating in the air. 3. Sometimes I wear white clothes while sometimes I wear black clothes; and I put on a red robe in the morning and evening. 4. People call me "cloud". 5. As I rise higher and higher in the air and the temperature of my body goes lower and lower, I will turn into countless drops of water. 6. As these small drops of water gather and fall, people call me ‘rain’. 7. Sometimes I become a small hard ball to hit upon the ground, and people call me "hail". 8. In the winter, I become a little flower and float down, and call me ‘snow’. 9. Usually I sleep in a pool, take a walk in a stream, run in a river and dance, sing, and have meetings in the ocean. 10. Sometimes I am gentle while sometimes I am irritable. 11.I have done many good things, irrigating fields, starting engines, and helping people to work. 12. I have also done many bad things, flooding crops, destroying houses, and causing disasters to people. 13.
